Beef Cattle

Home Beef Cattle

We sell beef by the cut on-farm for pickup and also take cutom orders for half- or whole-cow purchases. Please email contact@beldenfarmstand.com if you’re interested in a half- or whole-cow order. We will mix and match half-cow orders as soon as possible. You can request custom cuts and processing for your half- and whole-cow orders.

To order beef by the cut for on-farm pickup, please use this ordering form. If the form isn’t available because we are waiting for processing to be completed on an animal, please sign up for the mailing list and we will send out an email as soon as the beef is ready.

Are you interested in wholesaling some of our beef locally? Are you a chef who is interested in sampling some of our products? Send us an email and we will develop a custom beef program for you.

About Our Beef Program

We have been working on building our beef cattle program for about six years. Right now we have approximately 45 steers in our beef program. Around 1/3 of our steers are Holstein steers and the rest are made up of Holsteins crossed with beef breeds such as Charolais, Black and Red Angus, Hereford, and our most exciting new venture – Wagyu.

We raise our beef cattle for 22 months before sending for processing. We treat all of our animals, including our steers, with respect and care for their needs from birth until processing. No animal on our farm is neglected and they all live happy, healthy lives with plenty of food, sunshine (weather permitting here in New England), and fresh air. We make sure our steers only have one bad day in their lives.
